As a self managed fund, you can choose what % of investment you put into land/property, shares (generally 90%/10% to 80/20 split on dividend returning blue chip and specs), art, gold, foreign exchange etc etc - Get some good advice from a qualified investment consultant on how best to set up a self managed fund to suit your future requirements - what tax advantages you can have, investment options etc etc - most important is that you get good qualified advice!!!
