HFA Holdings Limited (HFA) shares slumped 13% after the company reported a loss of $573.2 million from a profit of $35.1 million the year before. The net operating income for the company rose over the year, however an impairment expense of $ 585.62 was recognised in relation goodwill relating to the merger with Lighthouse. The net operating income rose 25%, or $19 million, although Lighthouse, responsible for the writedown, also contributed $70.2 in revenue. The fund manager said the future remained uncertain as investors remained cautious however there were grassroots signs of recovery for the fund. "
