I'm interested in many businesses and enjoy reading about and discussing them and the reasons why people invest or don't invest in them whether I own them or not.
I'm sure there are countless people who have discussed the merits of tesla, amazon, apple netflix etc who have never owned them for example.
If you limit engaging and discussing things to only the things you own, you will always have a small mind.
