elementary my dear watson? Costic asked earlier what the market depth figures were looking like. Answer is, interesting reading! At the close of play today, the volume (number of shares ordered) on the buy side in the first five prices (always the serious contenders) outstripped the volume on the sell side by exactly 80% to 20% (807,634 buy – 198,041 sell) but the price has crashed due to the unusually large selling.
As Sherlock Holmes is supposed to have said: “Eliminate the impossible, and whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
Fact is, a lot of shares are wanted in those first five slots, and yet somehow the price has been forced down. Could a ferret have been put down the burrow to scare out those timid little ‘sell’ rabbits? The real players never like paying top whack, or so I’m reliably told.
Just a thought! What do you think, Watson, old boy?
Cheers for now,
Sid
