That's not the point though. Over a long enough time frame, you should theoretically have less money than when you started if you're doing that stuff.
A 2 month or 6 months bracket isn't enough to go off.
The <5% thing comes into effect after 12 months of trading.
Also what you're talking about is hindsight.
