I understand titanium is interesting... because of its ultra light weight, but I understand it's not so good at stopping bullets (dispersal) especially at lower more cost effective grade levels (tensile strength) --depends on the type of bullets or other things being thrown at it i suspect.
it is interesting though the kindda way AL3 welds/prints the metals and this process makes it stronger then if it was forged...maybe a magic blend going on here??..some other element combined?
so like the WAM method not only for making a custom fit, but for making it out of titanium is creating a special armour for either certain situations, where cost may not be such a factor (thus its not going to be a mega deal) OR a magic blend possible from the process..?? this prospect gets me more interested...
a very interesting development -- I'm still not reading enough between the lines; Still perhaps more going on then first indicated though -- interesting... I remain hopeful
