I think maybe some of the 'frothiness' was justified just by the market waking up to the opportunity here and scrambling to get it. Now that initial surge to get in has waned, and the seller/s have been able to push the SP down again.
I agree with you that we get closer to announcements with every passing day. That's logical. Though some of the sellers may be gambling on delays with delivery timetables / newsflow, which will weigh on sentiment. Over-riding all that, there will significant faith that Neil Biddle will deliver.
I also believe the overall market picture with COVID resurgence / lockdowns and doubts about the US situation has seen some people who are sitting in significant profits elect to cash in some chips and take money off the table.
