You are quite right. I just did a name search on Bodangora cemetery. Not one Chinaman in there?
Found two of mine.
Most of the names are long time well known Wellington families.
Extremely interesting read for someone who knows the area well.

A mate told me about two years ago a large hole opened up just behind the horse yards out there, was an old mine shaft and he said he dropped a rock down there and it took six seconds to hit bottom.
