Holy strawmans, batman!
Making up a scenario and then saying I like it, then saying how strange it is... it's fun watching someone have a conversation with themself.
Whether I like "buying a stock where the company's own 7 year protection of every dollar a customer will pay is still only ~30% of the current market cap" depends entirely on its growth rate. If it's growing at 100% and has a strong balance sheet, sure, I would probably be a happy buyer. If it's never going to obtain another customer, then no I wouldn't. The point is you don't value a growing company with new opportunities as if it has a zero growth rate.
