@diligent; it's your right idolise Morrison and to slap his back and to ignore his performance as PM.

Apparently unlike you, I see Morrison's dark side and the consequences of it ... there are good reasons many Victorians refer to Morrison as 'the PM of Sydney', not least of which is the impact he's had on Berejiklian.

Widespread non-compliance with health orders is indicative of systemic failure and begs the question as to why it's happening and what needs to be done to stop it?

It was apparent to people living outside of Sydney a very long time ago that the behaviour of Bondi's beach bum bozos was infectious - NSW all but legitimised it as 'freedumb' from lockdowns. It's become the model / icon that inspires many Sydneysiders to violate health orders. Now, only a strategy such as a curfew and a 5 kms mobility limit will enable the back of that 'culture' to be broken - people must get the message that what's happening is really serious!

    So what if:
    1. Morrison had delivered on vaccines as promised - NSW might not have experienced its current outbreak.
    2. Morrison had not interfered with NSW politics - Berejiklian may have made better decisions and locked down earlier.
    3. Morrison had not refused to build dedicated quarantine facilities - Australia may have remained all but virus-free.

Morrison is a root cause of what's happened in NSW and he's increasingly being called out for his contributions to the mess.
