A more detailed report on the Israeli situation. A small majority were indeed vaccinated but the incidence rate would be lower for the vaccinated given the high levels of vaccination. As for the difference with San Diego, I would speculate it is the waning effectiveness of the vaccines after a period of time as has been documented. That is why boosters are being recommended; my oldies in UK getting one soon.
