MOP or SOP. While different processes and ingredients, it still essentially ends up potash, right? Obviously different science at play, but same same outcome for crops.
BHP are clearly looking at playing in this space, Potash.

They as others will be starting to, look at potash and other smaller industries as they diversify away from coal, iron ore,etc.

As the major players look to decrease their carbon footprint, they will look into projects like this, regardless of their name. If they think it's viable, they'll have a look.

I wasn't saying it will happen, but I wouldn't be surprised.
