@Holdtight I like this answer...........but i don't necessarily believe it to be true. Why?
If you short a share (in theory) you have no limit to potential losses that can be made (as the SP can climb, and climb.....), whereas clearly when Long, you understand that if the SP goes to zero you lose everything (the downside is known). So would short funds running algo's likely get involved with companies like WBT (and its near term SP potential), or companies whose performance is controlled/known - otherwise you run the risk of getting smashed, and I don't think they are that stupid!
