no base metals boom here

How can JBM make $95 million profit and be on a PE of six? It's absolutely crazy. It hasn't happened in teh past during base metal booms.

Unfortunately this time the boom prices have not translated to a proper stockmarket boom. Price rises have been pretty much insignificant compared with a boom market. There were even far better price rises in 1993/1994. Eg. compared to now base metals and gold shares were booming. And gold also only briefly touched $400.
