I agree with all you said, however , the elephant in that room , ( record debt, endless money printing, stagflation, govt credibility collapsing and all paper currencies racing to zero ) of which you speak has not been addressed , and that is the crypto. This could very well see gold collapse if we see the emergence of GovCoin - Government Crypto which is a real possibility.
I for one is counting on a rise in gold prices, ( hence my hold position ) but it becomes more and more frustrating to watch the crypto space go from strength to strength whilst monitoring the direct correlation between gold and crypto. ( hence not a buy stance )
