I actually think that we won't see a heavy resurgence in the IO price though I think maybe a 10% up or down stabilisation will happen.
I know that statement is not what is the prevailing thoughts of others here.
GRR is down about 27 cents from its highs (30%) and I am hoping a positive reward to shareholders in the way of a good dividend will reverse that trend. I doubt it will come from any upward movement in the IO price.
I also suspect that if there is an upward trend in the IO price beyond my prediction, that the SP will rise slower than the pace it went backwards.
China's actions to lower IO prices has been incredibly successful and, now they have achieved the result they wanted, I doubt that they will want to see it go up again. At $300 a tonne, we perhaps can be grateful that the IO price is still higher than it was at the beginning of 2020 and Grange is still making very decent profits.
