Revenues of $8.345mn in Q2 2021 could not have been predicted from past data. That suggests a recovery in key metrics of the pearls: size and percentage of marketable grade. Both have a lot of ground to recover from the declines in recent years. Should a recovery take place, the impact on future revenues and profits will be dramatic. The forthcoming Annual Report should offer some explanation of what happened in Q2, if only buried in the footnotes.
