I found over the years that you really have make up your own considered opinion on a share investment or you'll do your shirt. I don't read the AFR- but I get ideas from the media to use as inputs for my own assessments.
Bear in mind, if the journalist was that good at share investing what's he doing working for a salary on a paper.
