    Andrew Forrest, BHP, IGO and Western Areas have started battling with take overs or taking controlling interests over nickel.

    IGO aims to take over Western Areas, who also have an interest in St George.

    Could SGQ become a take over target over the coming weeks?

    The Cathedrals, Stricklands and Investigators nickel-copper-cobalt-PGE discoveries are located on the E29/638 licence held in joint venture by St George (75%) and Western Areas (ASX: WSA), with St George as manager.
