what an insult to the Vietnam protestors by comparing them to todays disgraceful protest. The Vietnam protests were about saving lives.Todays motley crew were about an unwillingness to join the great mass of the population in the effort to stop the spread of a killer disease. They did that even though they must have known they could be contributing to the spread of the virus. Some on this forum even use the fact that deaths are low in Australia to somehow justify their protest against restrictions when its those very restrictions that have resulted in the low death rate. In countries where they allowed the virus to run due to inadequate restrictions and lockdowns the number of deaths rocketed. The UK deaths from Covid per per 100,000 people is 49 times more than Australia and the UK is not the worst for instance in Peru its over 200 times the Australian death rate per capita.
