At these prices, I’m starting to wonder if Hazer’s credits would be profitable enough to do nicely out of the biogas business in the worst case the graphite had to be thrown away (not that I believe it will be). They’d stand to make at least $500-1,250 per tonne/graphite in abatement (i.e. $2,000-5,000 per tonne H2, where one tonne is worth 100 tonnes in CO2 abatement), while their breakeven graphite price has been somewhere between $300-500.

In any case, as soon as the CDP is up and running they can start selling credits - a pretty decent source of revenue while graphite goes for larger-scale testing with Hazer’s various partners.
