Aug 23 (Reuters) - New Zealand fuel supplier Z Energy (ZEL) said on Monday it received a fourth buyout proposal from Australian peer Ampol Ltd (ALD) that valued it at NZ$1.97 billion ($1.34 billion).
The bid of NZ$3.78 a share is a 24% premium to the Wellington-based company's last closing price. The previous three bids were not publicly disclosed.
