Veyonda continues to rack up impressive data. We know about LuPIN results, in which median survival of 19.7 months was achieved in patients with metastatic CRPC; we know about DARRT-1 results, which generated a number of abscopal responses in end-stage prostate patients; we know that its combination with chemo enabled the carboplatin dose to be reduced to non-toxic levels without affecting efficacy; and now we know that 37 of 38 COVID patients with moderate disease were virtually free of the disease after 14 days.

It is true that larger clinical trials are required, but the evidence so far suggests that Veyonda improves the performance of cancer treatments, and that the same drug has anti-inflammatory properties that benefit patients hospitalized with moderate COVID-19.

By dissolving Idronoxil in a propriety suppository base, Noxopharm has achieved a half-life of over 10 hours for Veyonda, which means that it only needs to be administer twice per day to have 24 hour coverage at therapeutic dose levels.

Using a suppository might not appeal to everyone, but consider this:

If it works, who cares?

Veyonda is SAFE to use

It can be self-administered at home

The unvaccinated will face the threat of death or serious infection for years to come

The action of Veyonda against key cytokines appears able to prevent long-COVID, which threatens to be the worst effect of the COVID-19 virus.

The likely affordability of Veyonda means that it could be widely used as a preventative.

A timely reminder of the stand-out points that are arriving thick and fast…. not only on cancer but now on Covid too. SO FAST it transpires that since you penned this post earlier today….. we now have another extremely interesting piece of news regarding Veyonda and the new TBK1 target.

Oh well!!…. Newsflow has to be continuously updated I guess ….. to be so aptly named. Here’s hoping you will forever be just one step behind…. ‘Cos that will mean it just keeps on coming mate. (grin)
