My thoughts are STO are waiting for a takeover and in doing so if and when it happens will have a immediate higher impact on their SP.
Unless the offer for STO is to good to be true then as an example if the offer is around $20 it will then enable STO to make a script and cash T/O for ESG for a lot less as of todays SP
