Today's result confirms this Group is a lame duck; how can this Board justify being a "bank" when all is wants to do is fund low profit housing loans - it's time for a clean out; the insurance division is just surviving.
The only thing that will save them is a takeover - the price may be lower not higher - remember the offer of $23 that wasn't even put to the vote ?
It's a pity to see a former great institution fall on its sword.
