It happens to most stocks though. Been that way for many decades. Nothing ever changes.
Hedge funds attack any stock and drop it down to cause a panic sell off.
Long term trend though is upwards.
FMG also getting into green technologies which will make them far more money so stock over the longer term will rise faster.
Seen this far to often over the decades with so many stocks.
Who ever does a dividend the stock falls bigger than the dividends.
Look at BHP for example. They do a $2 dividend when the stock was $54 a share and its since slid down to $44 a share.
It too will go back up after pay out.
That is the stock market for you.
