The problem sjx is that they had a great offer three years ago and the board were too arrogant to engage on it at the time. Now would be a stupid time to try and sell the banking division for a decent price so I agree with you that its not likely to happen in the short term. We can only hope they see it the same way but their track record of making the right critical decisions does not inspire confidence!
