Yes it is amazing how "dead" the buyers are right now in this sector. I am figuring it is likely due to the lockdowns in Vic/NSW causing some sell offs and hesitation in regards to their finances. People are less likely to take a risk when they feel like their savings may be dry in a few months. I feel sorry for all these people locked down but they should be protesting or doing something about it rather than sitting home twiddling their thumbs and being "good boys". Need more Australian spirit. Financially speaking though the lockdowns have been great for me but I think it is a bad sign for our country over the next few years and would dissolve as much AUD as possible into safe assets.
BML to me is like a "safe" stock to get into if you want the silver upside. It's not going to have as much upside as something like MKR during a silver run but it also doesn't have as much risk. There are people that invested in these silver stocks in February, maybe at high prices that are probably annoyed everything is taking so long to "happen", worried that their holdings are so much below what they put in, but the end result will be worth it.
There aren't as many other good investments right now that would move much outside of crypto and you have just as much chance there to lose 75% of what you put in. Silver is as sure a bet as any I've seen in the last 30 years. The people who made the most on crypto/real-estate now are those that bought into it years ago and held the line. The same will be true of gold and silver holders and the related stocks on ASX going forward.
