And the propaganda show is exactly that. Not balanced at all. The poor Greenlanders have been made to think that the U is going to come out of nowhere to pollute their land. In reality, it is sitting in that landscape, slowly being released into waterways and the environment (not to mention the radon that is slowly leaching into their air). But that does not fit the position of the people opposing this mine.

As I said before, please look it up, watch out for subtle changes in position as IA tries to fit their square populism into the round hole of reality. People in these consultations are telling them they want jobs, they want progress, can we have this mine if it safe ? IA cannot just ignore their views. They don't have that much of a majority to play with (indeed they only have government because of a coalition).

And the report today from Greenland does show that there are subtle changes in play. IA just cannot fan the flames of protest as this will get seriously out of shape if they try to.

The adults in the room (those in Denmark) will be telling them to cool it. Lest their funding might not be increased in the next round of reviews. Why fund a country that is hell bent on self destruction ?
