anything is possible if a high enough offer was made, however, as I see it, any potential buyer, would likely want FFRs open pit deposit in the portfolio, but... then again Rivit/Adaman don't and who knows, they could borrow another $150m and take a shot at GCY (but I doubt their creditors will like it).
Basically, if an offer was made, one of the stipulations could be that the merger must not proceed, for the offer to be successful.
