In my very high level and un-researched opinion, I don't see that the EV revolution (and that will happen) will see much change in demand for oil. I see one site that says 35% of oil consumption world wide is for road, and about 20% for electricity generation.
Come 2035, there will still be petrol stations. I don't think the taper from no new ICE cars to no ICE cars on the road will be a steep one.
And where will the electricity to charge all these wonderful green cars come from? The bulk of it will be fossil fuels.

I expect the world's demand for energy to increase, and although wind and solar energy usage will also increase, ultimately a significant percentage of the world's energy will come from fossil fuels for a long time to come.

Saw a Tesla driving up the Stuart Highway in convoy with a Landrover. Sure enough, in the Rover's trailer was a genny.
