Hi Tshirt
Databases are not that hard to get hold off and are always over priced in any sort of deal like these.
Offshore V was the great white hope in the 1990's until BP and BHP had a major oil field development built which had a huge problem of lack of oil. Not sure how much they lost around AUD 300 to 500 million?
So Neon offshore play, has been well picked over by the major companies and really I can not see why SAE done the deal.
Any way they have, so value to current SAE shareholders in my view is small or even negative to be honest.
We shall see what the market thinks over the next few days.
Good luck
