i like this way of thinking

one thing that attracted me to BCN was the low market cap...around 6 mill.

there is a rule of thumb.... which is probably a sweeping over generalization.... but it says that a speccie like BCN is worth about 5% of the inground value of it's assets. The company stated in a recent update that they hope to sure up AT LEAST 500k ounces of gold.....

at, let's say, $1000.00 aud an ounze

    500,000 x 1000 = $500 mill

    5% of 500 mill = 25 mill....or about 4x the present market cap.

Leverage on BCNOA would be far greater....currently priced at about 1/2 of BCN. You would expect the 1c diff to be maintained...so if the sp could achieve, as a first base goal, 4 x 1.8c = 7.2c then the ops would be around 6.2c....or nearly a 7 bagger from current prices.

......and this would be for starters. Down the track BCN could be worth anything.

LOL but before all that could happen they have to actually find the gold.

PS this is just a bit of back of the envelope calcs...I appreciate that anything can and does happen in the world of gold exploration. Actual outcomes could vary wildly from these musings.....which is why outlays on such ventures should be reasonably modest.....but given the upside potential this is definately worth a bash IMO.
