Based on what I have observed....the underwriters went short when the halt was lifted...as a hedge....now they are covering just above the issue price....the big sell they had on yesterday for 10mil was lifted and just put back on in smaller lots..The underwriters are holding a heap of stock that's why they can put it on the sell...
no one else can get by their huge buy orders at 27 and 26c so they just clean up at 27.5 from all the panicking small holders who cant get past 28c on the sell.....
who else would it be?
They have effectively stabalised the price whilst hedging against the possibility of being left with a heap of stock at 27c
you just have to wait until they have got what they want....
