I like to open a discussion and get ideas from anyone regarding who could potentially be on the list and who you would most like to see zip go with.
during the APT/Square deal ann it was said that apt had 6 potential buyers (not sure if it was aditional or included square) but lets go with 6 total. one was apparently a major bank.
who do you think is on that list??
square (obviously) amazon? stripe? ebay? paypal? klarna? major bank (which one?)
please add any thought as to who else could have been on the list and why any of these shouldn't be.
square/apt done amazon/affirm done (not exclusive i believe) paypal creating their own
leaving options for zip with ties ups to stripe ebay klarna major bank
personally if a merger had to happen I'd like to see it ve announced that its with stripe. ebay is slowly dying klarna maybe would swallow it just to get its market share not sure which bank or how they would intergrate (so im skeptical of a relationship there)
