Am not sure that announcement of Stage2 infrastructure - Stage 2 ramping up will turn market.
As pointed out before who would consider that as "news"?
Tis already known.
Sometimes can have the opposite effect to expected - ie actually send share price lower.
"I wish" say would be buyers - accumulators?
Miningnut's comments that CBA is still unloading - with 4 million shares to go.
If - as for my idle-carless-unknowing speculation - CBA is unloading because AVM now an overseas company; is being unloaded completely as part of the rigid paramaters which dictate sharholdings in Unit Trusts; then expect weakness in SP to continue until CBA sells out. Taking no prisoners!
Seems to me the possible Gecamine AVM/Congo Government agreement is the announcement most likely to shake share price higher.
The 4 million CBA shares taken out!
Share price to rocket thereafter.
Other than that - when institutions ascertain increased profits due to Stage 2 completion the share price surely can't be held back! ???
One thing for sure (I believe)--
AVL share price at very much higher levels - healthy and strengthening - by or at January 05 is still my confident assertion.
