Only takes one major lender to start foreclosing aggressively on overly indebted farm businesses to trigger a downward spiral in farmland values ... and of course that can push other lenders into trouble as well. Let's hope it doesn't happen but the early signs of trouble are well and truly out there. I'd avoid all agriculture stocks until the underlying commodity prices turn around ...
