I believe reimbursement at current levels in the US is until January next year.

In absolute terms I think treatment of 1.5 doses at about $15,000 per dose is not a major budget component.In fact there has been a rally in some US healthcare stocks as Obama's healthcare plan seems to have been derailed to an extent.
