Unfortunatel as innovators Aus businesses often fall at the last hurdle. e.g. My holding (rather substantial) in Netcomm, for years and years we small investors happily accepted no dividends as the business re-invested to move from a local manufacturer of wireless internet modums to world leader in 5G for machine to machine comms. Then we got Justin Milne as CEO and he sold us off to a loss making minor US business who was supposed to become our US distributor. He sold us out without a premium at roughly book value so he could retire. The founder/major shareholder was in tears at the EGM. I personally lobbied brokers/merchant banks to get behind us, to no avail. Instos only want a quick flick return. A few of us took it to the Supreme Court, I sat there watching NetComms' laywers and the US mob go through the motions, the judge paid lip service to our points and approved the takeover. Hope EOS doesn't go the same way, I believe in the future IP, but will Mr Market?
