Ann: Plomosas operations update, page-79

Just my opinion (and easier to be objective when not invested) but I just can’t see how this thing will fly if it hasn’t already. It’s too small. Even if they do everything right it’s 150 tons per day. They can recover 70% (or so they say). At today’s zinc prices they should get about $225 ton after recovery, T&Cs, etc. Less opex at the mine maybe $150 gross profit per ton. Which is really good. 150 tons a day, 300 days a year, = $6,750,000. Let’s say they clear $5m after corporate costs. What’s the company worth which such a small reserve? $20m?
With a tiny output and a tiny reserve in a largely unloved jurisdiction it’s just never going to go nuts. Maybe if they get EVERYTHING right the share price doubles from here but there are a LOT of very attractive miners with better projects in better places. Just my opinion.
