That might be fair if the offer was at a substantial premium to market… and at a PE reflecting the accelerating growth. Andrew Hansen may have his reasons for wanting to roll his shares into BGH - an offer not extended to all HSN shareholders. but I struggle to understand how the HSN Board including so called independent directors… can decide selling out at small premium is in the best interests of everyone …. with no transparency of any effort that the board has secured the best offer for shareholders, and the offer is a compelling offer to recommend, rather than letting the business successfully continue and letting long-standing shareholders make there own assessments on when & if they wish to consider selling.
Shame on the lot of them… ! What a disgrace.
