So you bought a speculative, short-term instrument that is highly leveraged on a speculative stock and now you are complaining that there is no 'guaranteed' return on your investment. I assume when the management decides on their funding strategy, their aim is to provide shareholder value in the long term and that doesn't necessarily align with what the short term investors want. Securing $20m from prestigious, knowledgeable instos is definitely helpful for the long term viability of the business, so I don't think the management screwed any long term investors here. If you own LCL stocks too, the potential capital gain on those should offset your losses in the long term.
