In case you are unaware, there is an exploration well, Lockyer Deep-1 (LD-1) being drilling by NWE and MIN in the Perth Basin which is just days away from entering the Kingia Sandstone primary objective (gas). LD-1 is reliant on fault seal to trap gas in the Kingia Sandstone, just as Cervantes-1 is reliant on fault seal to trap oil within the Kingia Sandstone. If LD-1 discovers gas in the Kingia, this help support effective fault seal and potentially further de-risks Cervantes-1.
