My concern is that we have a time limit..doesn't the asset return to shell in 2020? and is this why NXS may be finding it hard to find a partner to develop CRUX?
I think the easiest way to understand this is that Nexus own the Crux liquids - full stop.
The question is over how, how much, and when they will access them. They have said that they will maximise their return from these assets and hence the debate re liquid stripping / LNG development. Future price of liquids ....capital requirements in constrained world ... Browse development timetable - not all the majors are in WPL's camp to do it now and want to develop Browse later -hence the 2020...
