I certainly am keen to keep sharing, and to learn from others.
I understand that many of the old BHP posters have found specs and prefer them, and good luck to them.

At the end of the day, I know that if I am left holding the bag with my portfolio, the bag won’t be empty, but full of the safest stock on the planet.

Ex dividend today, and with most ex dates going back a few years, the price usually drops in excess of the amount, and usually for a few days after.
(The exact $US 0.41 divind will be calculated in Australian cents based on the prevailing exchange rate on September 4. Currently $AU.48).

The US ADR's go ex on September 2. So we should expect a couple of days of down moves.

However, I believe we'll be back on our feet by week's end, marching on to $42 if not $44.
