Yes it was a screwup and a very poor look for Weebit. However, I don’t think there is any need to ascribe the worst possible traits to Skywater in that they are now going to screw us over. It will be an uncomfortable few days getting everything sorted but you don’t go in to business with pirates who will screw you at the first opportunity... don’t forget Dadi and Coby have potentially been working with these guys for an extended period and developed good relationships. Possibly there were some existing relationships that have been developed.
Just breath in and out deeply - several times. Then let the experts do what they do. They will all have been in the position of having to recover from mistakes in the past and will be aiming to go forward in good faith from here.
