IF everything proceeds as (prematurely) announced, I'm wondering whether it might actually keep the market behaviours a bit more rational when it is eventually properly released. Knock the peak off any share price surge and smooth things out a bit.
my.gut feeling is we were likely supposed to go into TH Friday, with this to come out early next week, giving the most opportunity for both parties to manage the timezone differences.
If no major setbacks come out of this saga it won't matter in the coming months anyway, but it would be nice not to have the wild swings that the traders love.
