Sharts have added roughly 1% of new short positions in the last two days, but the question is how many of their existing short positions have they closed?
I would agree with you that many sharts would have taken the advantage of this event to drive down the SP and close their short positions - this will show up in Shortman in a few days' time.
Shorting is a dangerous game to play, but they are certainly winning
However, at some point in time, they need to take their winnings and run!
