Me too. Last Friday, net shorts increased by a further 60K to 1,427,655. Only two trading days after that before we entered the halt. Given WBT rose 9% on the 30th, there's a fair chance they covered some. They don't normally like to make more than 10% of turnover so perhaps up to 115K comes off that figure at tomorrow's release. They probably shorted on the 31st but not much.
Imagine facing potentially a million dollar loss in one day when this reopens and being powerless in the meantime...
On the flipside, we know there's a buyer out there who has to buy over a million shares and soon which is only going to increase the price by more and they won't be continuing the shorting which has been a handbrake up til now. Now the foot's to the floor on the accelerator.
