So the cost of this issue just in the engineering area was somewhere up and around $3/4million .... goes to show how a simple looking device the size of a printer is actually packed with a stack of IP. Huge moat for any competition. Then on top of that the cartridges.

I think its more the cost of an almost 1 year delay due to an engineering design error, not the actual cost of rectifying it.
